Part 1
As children, you snuck into the Witchlight Carnival without paying—and paid dearly, each losing something precious. Mister Witch and Mister Light warned you: “Every visit has its cost.” Those losses haunted you until the Carnival returned to Endora, drawing you back.
Now cursed by the cruel hands of the Fey:
- Jerre Ravathyra, pirate, cannot keep secrets—their ship doomed. Chosen vessel of the sea’s divine.
- Elwin Vaphine, stylish halfbreed of Empirius, stripped of his flair by Bavlorna.
- Tuuli Tähti, noble monk searching for meaningful connection, lost her creative spirit to Endolyn.
- Aika Aria, guardian of a Feywild Crossing, severed from her goddess Kova, her shadow stolen.
- Lîda Thâldernin, running from her past, tested by the beauty of the Fey. Champion of death and shadow.
Aika’s defiance in returning the Witchlight Vane led to Elwin’s death. Meanwhile, Lîda, rescued from assassins by Lithreah, rejoined the group.
Elwin was resurrected by an Archfey and bound to cleanse Hither’s waters. Together, you liberated Sir Talavar, toppled Downfall’s regime, and crowned King Bogwitt. But betrayal followed: Elwin was forced to slay Aika, whose soul was later reborn by the goddess Keazi.
Lîda’s disastrous airship crash scattered you across the Feywild. After aiding Will of the Feywild in Loomlurch, you struck risky bargains with Skabatha and ventured into Yon, where the Chainbreakers captured you. Jerre faced his past alone before you regrouped at Motherhorn.
Endolyn praised your chaos but revealed the truth: the coven’s bargains are endless traps. Your escape brought wrath. Bavlorna imprisoned your allies, including Sir Talavar, King Bogwitt, and others.
Now fugitives, your only hope was to uncover the Hourglass Coven’s secrets and break the cycle of curses and Fey bargains before the Feywild claimed you forever.
After removing the hags from the board, you learned of another power behind them, the one controlling the Hourglass Coven. She claimed you would make excellent replacements for the hags. When you defied her, she threatened those you loved, promising to make them leverage until you obeyed.
Then she opened a portal to hunt them down.
You followed.
There, you entered The Verdan Chrysalis.
Part 2
You survived the Feywild, but survival has not brought peace. One nightmare has ended, and another has already begun.
Vinakryn is no longer your only nemesis. Time is your enemy now. How long have you been trapped inside The Verdan Chrysalis? How much of the world moved on without you? When will your metamorphosis be complete?
